HuRiLab fellow should meet the following requirements:
18-35 years old;
Turkish Citizen
Solid knowledge of rule of law, human rights, justice issues- previous work/ volunteer experience in this field desirable;
Understanding of the realities, problems and political processes in Turkey;
Experience in programme development and implementation is an advantage;
Ability to do desk research, collect and analyze data;
Fluency in English

Project Proposal (1 A4) – answering 3 questions:
- Which Rule of Law, Human Rights, and Justice challenge in your country does require an innovative solution?
- Why cannot this issue be addressed in a traditional way (by institutional actors such as UNDP/ the government)?
- How will you use social innovation/technology tools to address the issue?

5. PAYMENT
Payment will be released in one installment, in the value of 1000-1500 $, upon timely submission of respective deliverables and their acceptance by the CO supervisor and the BRC focal point.
Payment will be made only upon confirmation of UNDP on delivering on the contract obligations in a satisfactory manner. The amount paid to Local Expert shall be gross and inclusive of all associated costs such as social security, pension and income tax, etc.
Individual Consultants are responsible for ensuring they have vaccinations/inoculations when travelling to certain countries, as designated by the UN Medical Director. Consultants are also required to comply with the UN security directives set forth under dss.un.org.

7. EVALUATION
The HuRiLab fellow will be evaluated against the technical criteria only. The technical evaluation (max 30 points) will take into account the following as per the scoring provided:
· Quality of the project proposal (1. understanding of the key rule of law, human rights, justice issues 7 pts ; 2. ability to incorporate innovative approaches 9 pts; 3. feasibility 5 pts): max 21 pts or 70%
· Relevant experience in programme development and implementation: max 9 pts or 30 %
