JobID#14844- Consultant - Climate Vulnerable Forum Support Specialist

EEG is seeking enthusiastic, qualified candidates for a consultancy assignment supporting the UNDP Climate Vulnerability Forum Support (CVF) Project.

The consultant should have relevant experience and understanding of all thematic areas of climate change, in particular vulnerability, finance, UNFCCC and adaptation issues, including demonstrated experience in managing international conferences, policy dialogue and communication projects.

The Specialist shall work in direct assistance to and in coordination with the incumbent CVF/CVFTF Steering Committee Chairs to fulfill CVF/CVFTF institutional support and Technical Secretariat functions. The consultant will liaise as required with CVF, external partners, sub-contractors and other actors towards the effective realization of the following deliverables.

Criteria for Selection of Best Offer:

The selection will be based on a combined Scoring method – where the qualifications will be weighted 70% and combined with the price offer which will be weighted 30%. The 70% rating will be based on how well the applicant meets the minimum qualifications/competencies described in the TOR.
