| Overview : The demand-driven project aims to complement and support implementation of existing and emerging new sub-regional and country initiatives including those on the extractive industries. The project is aligned to the UNDP’s new Corporate Strategic Plan and the new Regional Programme for Africa as its primary aim is to support poverty reduction, inclusive growth and sustainable development. It also contributes to the AfDBs Safety Net programs as part of the broader social protection agenda that addresses the risks, vulnerability and social exclusion. |
