| Overview : One of the main objectives of the Procurement Unit of UNDP Ethiopia is providing a quality, effective and efficient support to the UNDP Ethiopia CO as well as to the other UN agencies by procuring goods, services, and works in line with the basic procurement principles. Among the services most frequently procured by the unit are translation, editorial, and interpretation services. In consideration with the provision of such an effective and efficient procurement service in areas identified above, the unit is planning to develop the roster of qualified individual translators, interpreters, and editors.
The large majority of translation, interpretation, and edition services procured by the unit most frequently involve English, French, Arabic, and Portuguese languages. Moreover, the procurement of translation and edition services in local languages such as Amharic, Tigrigna, and Oromo language is common.
Therefore, the unit invites interested and qualified individual applicants to download, fill, sign and submit the “Vendor Response Form” attached herewith. Also, applicants are expected to attach their CVs and three recommendation letters duly signed by authorized authority and containing the official seal of the company writing the recommendation. |
