| Overview : The United Nations (UN) in Lesotho supports the Government of Lesotho to realize their National Strategic Development Goals in the areas of the Millennium Development Goals. The UN in Lesotho is represented by the following UN agencies: UNAIDS, UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, FAO, WFP, WHO, as well as the World Bank and IMF.
The UN Lesotho supports the Government of Lesotho through programme implementation, which requires strong operational support. The UN aims to perform this support efficiently, effectively with accountability and transparency, and as such, the UN Agencies in Lesotho are strengthening back-office operations.
Security in the UN House is a key precondition for effective operations. In this regard, the UN in Lesotho is seeking the procurement and installation of the UN House Premises Access control system.
The objective of this ITB is to award a contract with a specialized firm to ensure safe and secure premises for the UN House in Lesotho. |
