Overview : UNDP and the Deaf and Blind Society of Turkmenistan are working together in the framework of the project “Social Inclusion through Leadership Skills for Disabled Women in Turkmenistan.” The project aims to empower women leaders and promote social inclusion of women with disabilities through training activities, networking and experience exchange. To increase public awareness, a set of outreach advocacy materials on social integration of people with disabilities and gender issues will be developed in Turkmen and Russian languages.
