EEG is seeking qualified candidates for a consultancy assignment supporting the work of UNDP’s Strategic Initiative to Address Climate Change in LDCs, also known as ‘Boots on the Ground’ in Asia.
The consultant will be placed in UNDP's Regional Service Centre in Asia and will work in support for and close collaboration with national climate change specialists. As the Boots on the Ground programme is refreshed in 2014, the consultant will contribute to helping to strengthen technical capacities of LDCs in the region to integrate climate change risks and opportunities into human development based planning, programming, and public and private investments.

Criteria for Selection of Best Offer:
The selection will be based on a combined Scoring method – where the qualifications will be weighted 70% and combined with the price offer which will be weighted 30%. The 70% rating will be based on how well the applicant meets the minimum qualifications/competencies described in the TOR.
