Overview : In 2006, the Department of Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs in collaboration with the World Intellectual Property Organization conducted a feasibility study, which validated Bhutan in a good position to create a nation brand. The Department of Trade developed a draft Brand Bhutan Strategy under UNDP’s support in 2011. The draft Brand Bhutan Strategy listed a number of recommendations including a logo for Brand Bhutan, implementation programme, work plan and the timeline.
The objective of the assignment is to refine and finalize the existing draft Brand Bhutan Strategy and propose clear concept and directions for the implementation of the strategy in consultation with relevant Government agencies, civil society organizations and business organizations.
