Terms of Reference

 

 

 

The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) intends to launch in the near future a request for proposal on behalf of the Common Procurement Activities Group (CPAG) for UNOG and specialized agencies of the United Nations system in Geneva, for Travel Agent Services and Visa Processing for three years commencing 1 January 2009 with a possible extension of a further two years.


The following international organisations and specialized agencies based in Geneva are participating in this exercise:

- International Trade Centre (ITC)
- United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)
- United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG)
- World Meteorological Organization (WMO)
- World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
- World Health Organization (WHO)
- International Telecommunication Union (ITU)

Experience Requirements. The contractor must have extensive expertise in business travel and must be able to demonstrate experience in successfully delivering services of a similar account. It should have a broad network worldwide for making travel arrangements. Thorough knowledge in current travel industry trends and excellent reporting tools will also be essential.

Business References. Please provide Letters of reference from at least three clients to whom your company has provided goods/services over the past twelve months. The recommendation letter must be prepared in the reference sources letterhead and signed by their representatives, who awarded an order to your firm or who administered your contract. Please also indicate fax numbers, email addresses and contact person for your reference sources so that the United Nations can contact them as and when required.
