| Overview : The Government of Lesotho in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) with funding from the European Union is implementing a 4 year (2012-2016) programme to deepen decentralization in Lesotho. The development objective of the Programme is to contribute to poverty reduction, promote inclusive economic growth and entrench democratic principles through improved decentralized governance.
One of the outcomes of the programme is to support local and national governance structures to deliver quality and accessible services to all citizens by 2017. Therefore in order to provide baseline information about the quality, quantity and accessibility of service delivery in Lesotho with the aim to be able to measure progress as a result of interventions to improve service delivery, upon which contributions by the DDP will also be evaluated, UNDP is looking to hire a firm to conduct a national service delivery survey. |
