Overview : The Local Junior Expert will assist conduction of the processes under pilot implementation. In this sense, the expert will support National Focal Point for Pilot Implementation.
S/he will prepare a document on the best practices and history of pilot implementation for visibility. S/he will also give support to the preparation of other printed materials including brochures. The expert will be expected to write reports for his/her duties undertaken.
The assignment involves the provision of interpretation and technical support to the Project’s international short-term consultants.
Based on the scope of work provided above, the tasks and responsibilities of the Local Junior Expert will be as follows:
Support National Focal Point for Pilot Implementation and CTA for the pilot activities to prepare the brochures.
Facilitate communication between the Project’s international experts, particularly, short-term consultants and local stakeholders during consultative meetings in pilot provinces by providing verbal and written translation services (English – Turkish);
Collect, review and analyze internal security sector documentation and other materials, as necessary for the senior international experts on pilots to advance work in the implementation of pilots and during the conduct of organizational and administrative review of governorates.
Will write history of pilot implementation by gathering information locally and systematically for all pilots: including the members of the boards, the duties, best practices,, the problems, and solutions for the problems.
Upon the request of the TAT and senior international experts, provide any other technical and operational backstopping, where necessary, in order to facilitate the delivery of related project activities; including taking notes in the project events. |
