| Overview : United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) intends to procure production of video films services for publicity and awareness raising regarding the importance of the civilian oversight of internal security sector with the specifications provided below within the scope of EU funded Technical Assistance for the Improvement of Civilian Oversight of Internal Security Sector Project Phase II Project.
The purpose of the videos will be to:
• Provide nation-wide expansion of the project’s outputs and impact.
• Provide information to viewers about the importance of civilian oversight and increasing the transparency of internal security forces and government.
• Highlight selected project activities and increase information on the functioning of internal security forces and how political and technical oversight of the internal security forces can be best implemented in Turkey.
• Raising awareness on the linkage between sense of safety and quality of life at local level.
• Promote community participation as means of achieving a more accountable and effective system of local government.
The video will be made available as a podcast on the UNDP website, project website and ,if approved by the Ministry of Interior, other related mass communication means. The target groups will include, Internal Security Forces (ISFs) governors, district governors central government officials, related civil society organizations and individual citizens.
