| Overview : UNDP in Libya is seeking a qualified and motivated candidate, in Tobruk, Libya, for the post of National Senior Parliamentary Officer and to work with House of Representatives “HoR”. The Parliamentary Officer will provide day-to- day support as well as advice on conducting capacity needs assessments, designing modules and delivering trainings for the HoR staff on preparation of Reports and Administrative Correspondence and Development of Secretarial Skills. The incumbent should possess high level and in depth expertise in the field of capacity development and Parliamentary development. She/he will have to effectively engage with HoR staff as well as UNDP staff and will need to provide high level strategic advice on capacity development and support the effective implementation of the project in and out of Libya.
Contract Modality
• Should consultant be hired through UNDP contract, the contract will be governed by “General Conditions of Contact for the Services of Individual Contractors”, attached as Annex 2.
• Should consultant be hired through “Third Party Contracting”, the contract will be governed by Third Party rules and regulations.
• The position is based in Tobruk, Libya and any official travel outside Tobruk will be paid on actual. |
