The overall objective of this consultancy is to support the Local Development Practice Area of UNCDF and its global and country programs in the assessments, formulation and application of these investment instruments covering UNCDF’s strategic sectors. This is to be linked to the needs and opportunities already assessed and to be further developed and defined in the Asian and African regions in countries seeking UNCDF’s assistance.
The specific objective is to support the technical team by developing concept notes, providing support to evaluations and reviews, conducting evaluations of needs and opportunities, home-based reviews of documents, preparing and presenting assessments and recommendations as well as applying relevant tools, approaches and methodologies for the implementation of the LDFP business plan.
