| Overview : The main purpose of this assignment is to develop a national database for disaster risk management in Malawi. Services of a national consultant are being sought who will work jointly with an international consultant funded by the World Bank. The consultant will deliver the following: 1) An inception report detailing the strategy to be utilised, work plan and a list of stakeholders and literature to be consulted; 2) Disaster preparedness database and accompanying Standard Operating Procedures Manual and detailed Application user Manual; 3)Final Report on Consultancy showing the methodology used, activities undertaken, successes, challenges, results (planned and unplanned), lessons identified and recommendations on how to address those lessons. |
