Reference: RFP_001_2015 Audit of NIM Projects in Lao PDR

 Dear Sir/Madam,

 You are invited to submit your proposal to conduct an audit of the UNDP projects executed by National Implementing Partners in Lao PDR.  Your proposal could form the basis for a contract between your firm and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).  The contract will cover the audit of financial reports for the year ended 2014 but may be extended, at the sole discretion of UNDP, for a further two years.

The objective of the audit is to assess whether the financial reports for the projects (referred to as the Combined Delivery Reports) present fairly the expenditures for the projects and that the funds were utilized for the purposes described in the project documents and work plans.

 Proposals in response to the present request must be marked submitted on or before 17:00 Vientiane time, 26 January 2015 at the following address:

Proposals received after this date will be rejected. UNDP may, at its discretion, extend the deadline for the submission of proposals, by notifying all prospective proposers in writing.  The extension of the deadline may accompany a modification of the solicitation documents prepared by UNDP at its own initiative or in response to a clarification requested by a prospective proposer.

 Any Proposal submitted will be regarded as an offer by the Proposer and does not constitute or imply the acceptance of any Proposal by UNDP. UNDP is under no obligation to award a contract to any Proposer as a result of this RFP.
