I. Background:
The United Nations Development Programme South Sudan (UNDP) Support to Access to Justice and Rule of Law Programme hereby invites CSOs/NGOs to submit proposals for the establishment of Justice and Confidence Centres (JCCs) as potential grant implementers in any of the following locations:
Aweil, Juba, Malakal, Yambio, Wau, Kuajok, Torit, Bor, Rumbek, Bentiu and Minkgaman IDP camp.
JCCs were conceived as a measure to overcome the current inadequacy of lawyers and legal professionals in South Sudan. The JCCs are facilities located with respective CSOs in South Sudan in which trained local partners provide a variety of information services to clients, including the provision of basic legal and human rights information, advocacy and mediation services.
