| Overview : The government of Uganda through the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), the UNDP and five selected district Local governments of; Namutumba, Bugiri, Budaka, Buyende, and Busia developed are implementing a project focused on promoting Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA).
The project “Enhancing adoption of Climate Smart Agriculture practices in Uganda” aims at up-scaling use of Conservation Agriculture (CA) and other SLM practices proven to be relevant for addressing land degradation, the decreasing land productivity and adaptation to climate changes in Uganda.
In order to enhance the adoption of CSA practices, the project plans to procure an assortment of CSA tools and implements in quarter I, 2015. In this regard, UNDP on Behalf of (MAAIF) would like to procure Agriculture equipment as detailed in the attached RFQ.
When preparing your proposal, please be guided by the RFQ attached. Proposals may be submitted on or before 3rd February 2015 at 10.00 a.m by following the submission instructions detailed in the solicitation document. |
