Overview

Established in 2006, the Humanitarian Response Fund (HRF) is a pooled fund managed by the Humanitarian Coordinator (HC) with the operational support of OCHA. Originally designed as a mechanism for responding to unforeseen emerging needs, the HRF complemented donor support to identified needs through the national Humanitarian Requirements Document (HRD) and appeals launched by UN agencies and NGOs.As part of the annual practice, the HRF commissions an online stakeholder’s survey to evaluate the performance of the Fund during the fiscal year. The views and thoughts of the stakeholders are used to inform the Fund’s strategies and direction for the next year. Response to the survey is compiled anonymously and presented in the Annual HRF Report. Hence,UNOCHA would like to recruit an individual consultant who will conduct a Stakeholder Survey on Humanitarian Response Fund (HRF).
