| Overview : UNDP Egypt intends to make interior renovations to its newly rented office space circa 2,000 SqM located within the World Trade Center (WTC), and invites interested companies to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI) to be pre-qualified for the implementation of construction works relating to the renovation project. The available office space is almost empty except for a few interior partitions that need to be removed while implementing the new interior design. Renovation works will implement designs approved provided by UNDP for dividing the overall space into multiple office spaces. The renovation project is expected to run for 4 months, starting on 1 May 2015 and ending on 31 August 2015. A consulting firm will support UNDP in the design and quality assurance of the renovation works and in the design and/or detailing specifications for furniture and fixture. The entire project will be implemented under the technical supervision of the consulting firm and overall supervision and guidance of UNDP designated focal point/s for the renovation project. Objective: The EoI is launched to assess the technical and other relevant capabilities of interested construction companies with experience in renovation and refurbishment of office spaces and pre-qualify them. When the prequalification is completed, UNDP will invite these pre-qualified companies to offer bids for the actual job of construction implementation. Depending on UNDP’s best interest, pre-qualified companies may be directly invited to offer their bids or compete in an open competition through UNDP’s standard bidding (solicitation) process. |
