| Overview : The purpose of the Consultancy is to develop a National Quality Strategy (NQS) to guide the implementation of the Malawi’s National Quality Policy. The National Quality Strategy will promote delivery of quality products and services in which the needs of the consumer will guide the actions of those who produce and deliver services and will influence the intertwined policy frameworks. The Strategy should be designed to be an evolving guide for Malawi as the country moves forward in its efforts to improve Quality. Hence, it should be updated annually by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to provide an ongoing opportunity to identify and learn from those providers that are ahead of the curve in delivering high quality, affordable services and products. It is expected that this National Strategy creates a new level of cooperation among all stakeholders seeking to improve and instill a Quality Culture for all Malawians. |
