| Overview : UNDP through Local Development and Social Cohesion in Northern Uganda Project, funded Nakapiripirit Technical Institute to deliver tailor made youth training programme for skills enhancement in their respective fields. This project fed into the main framework of UNDP under the Local Development and Social Cohesion in Northern Uganda, with the key output of enhancing Employment opportunities and development of economic recovery and integration initiatives targeting youth, crisis-affected and Vulnerable people(30% women).
Specifically, Nakapiripirit Technical Institute delivered practical skills enhancement for youth from communities where no training and educational opportunities exist for them to provide better quality services/products of their self-employment initiatives which are competitive on the market.
In this regard, UNDP would like to procure solar equipment (panels) for Nakapiripirit Technical Institute as detailed in the attached RFQ. When preparing your proposal, please be guided by the RFQ and Annex attached. Proposals may be submitted on or before 1st June 2015 by 11:00 a.m by following the submission instructions detailed in the solicitation document. |
