Overview : The purpose of the National Project Co-ordinator position is to facilitate the development and implementation of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects identified by the Government of Saint Lucia and LUCELEC, which are supported by the Carbon War Room-Rocky Mountain Institute and Clinton Climate Initiative partnership through the Ten Island Challenge. The position will be funded via the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Global Environment Facility (GEF) grant. The National Project Co-ordinator will report directly to the Clinton Climate Initiative funded Project Manager for Saint Lucia and be housed within the Ministry of Sustainable Development, Energy , Science and Technology. Functional and technical support will be provided through the UNDP Barbados & OECS/UNDP-GEF Panama Regional Hub. The National Project Co-ordinator be responsible for project implementation and coordination among on-island stakeholders. |
