Overview :

The Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) has corporate responsibility for developing all relevant policy and guidance to support the results of UNDP’s Strategic Plan.  BPPS’s staff provides technical advice to Country Offices; advocates UNDP corporate messages, represents UNDP at multi-stakeholder fora including public-private dialogues, government and civil society dialogue initiatives, South-South and Triangular cooperation initiatives and engages in UN inter-agency coordination in specific thematic areas.  BPPS works closely with UNDP’s Crisis Response Unit (CRU) to support emergency and crisis response.

UNDP is a founding cosponsor of the Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), a partner of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and a co-sponsor of several other international health partnerships. UNDP’s work on HIV, health and development leverages the organization’s core strengths and mandates in human development, governance and capacity development to complement the efforts of specialist health-focused UN agencies.  UNDP delivers three types of support to countries in HIV, health and development.

The following proposals must be prepared as per the prescribed standard format accompanied in the Procurement Notice. The Proposals shall be submitted before application deadline May 25, 2015 via UNDP Ethiopia Secured mail address: procurement.et@undp.org

Please note that these proposals shall be submitted to the designated secured email into two files but in one email unless both Files are Greater than 9MB

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Failing to submit anyone of the documents stated above will automatically disqualify the candidate from further technical evaluation;
  • Those prospect consultants who fail to submit both Technical and Financial proposals as per the STANDARD FORMAT and to the designated secured email will not be further considered for evaluation.
