Dear Sir / Madam:

We kindly request you to submit your Proposal for 2015/15/RFP – Study Tour to Czech Republic on Energy Efficiency and Waste Management (Kyrgyzstan)

Please be guided by the form attached hereto as Annex 2, in preparing your Proposal. 

Proposals may be submitted on or before 16:00 CET, 1 June, 2015 via courier mail to the address below:

                      Your Proposal must be expressed in the English, and valid for a minimum period of 120 days.

In the course of preparing your Proposal, it shall remain your responsibility to ensure that it reaches the address above on or before the deadline.  Proposals that are received by UNDP after the deadline indicated above, for whatever reason, shall not be considered for evaluation. 

                   

Services proposed shall be reviewed and evaluated based on completeness and compliance of the Proposal and responsiveness with the requirements of the RFP and all other annexes providing details of UNDP requirements.  

The Proposal that complies with all of the requirements, meets all the evaluation criteria and offers the best value for money shall be selected and awarded the contract.  Any offer that does not meet the requirements shall be rejected.

The UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub is the organization´s main knowledge and advisory hub for the Eastern Europe and Central Asian region. It aims to connect the region to a global network of development experts, to build knowledge and capacity, and to forge partnerships to meet the development challenges of a large and diverse region. The Hub also aims to capture and spread development successes and best practices in the region and to improve the impact of UNDP´s work through effective communications and advocacy.

The Czech-UNDP Trust Fund supports development activities that involve sharing experiences, good practices and lessons learned from Czech transition to democracy and market economy, as well as to EU membership. It focuses on the Balkans and ECIS countries and supports projects related to (a) Economic Transition, (b) Democratic Governance, (c) Energy and Environment, (d) Health (HIV/AIDS Prevention).  The Fund organizes study tours (to the Czech Republic), or sends experts/contracted subjects to the region to conduct trainings, workshops, collect data and provide recommendations, also for scoping missions.

UNDP Kyrgyzstan in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will serve as focal point responsible for organisation of study tours in terms of programmatic and logistic support.
