| Overview : The UNDP on behalf of the UN Agencies located at UN House would like to hire a cleaning company in order to provide qualified professional daily maintenance cleaning of the offices. UN House is occupied by several UN Agencies including UNDP, UNAIDS, UNFPA, UNICEF, UNDSS and UNOPS located at #3A Chancery Lane, Port of Spain. The building consists of 14715 sq. ft. which comprises the following: - The Basement (used for parking)
- Ground Floor: Entrance area, elevator, office space, 2 washrooms and 1 meeting room.
- First floor: Office space, 1 meeting room and 2 washrooms.
- Second floor: Office space, 1 meeting room and 2 washrooms.
- Third floor: Office space, 1 conference room, 2 washrooms, 1 lunch room and 1 kitchen.
The cleaning team shall comprise at least 3 Persons: -2 cleaners -A cleaning Foreman /Supervisor The foreman and cleaning crew are expected to provide their services starting from 3.00pm till 7.00pm Mondays through Fridays. Cleaning services will not be required for 10 public National Holidays taken by UNDP. However, services would be required for all other public National Holidays on which UNDP/UN staff work. This will be a 1-year agreement for the service, commencing no later than 1 September, 2015 renewable with satisfactory performance. CLEANING SERVICES TO UN HOUSE PREMISES AT #3A Chancery Lane, Port of Spain Operational Procedures: Under the overall direct supervision of the UNDP Procurement Associate, the Contractor’s personnel supervised by a Cleaning Foreman will be required to perform cleaning services as set out on the following pages. |
