INVITATION TO BID

SUBJECT: Renovation of the Kindergarten at Princess Basma Rehabilitation Center in Jerusalem

Reference Number: ITB-2015-138

The United Nations Development Programme/ Programme of Assistance to the Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP) hereby invites you to submit a Bid to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the above-referenced subject.

This ITB includes the following documents:

Section 3:         Schedule of Requirements and Technical Specifications

Section 4:         Bid Submission Form

Section 8:         Form for Bid Security

Section 9:         Form for Performance Security

Section 10:     Form for Advanced Payment Guarantee

Section 11:     Contract to be Signed, including General Terms and Conditions

Section 12:     Safety, Health and Welfare on Construction Sites – Manual

Your offer, comprising of a Technical Bid and Price Schedule, in separate sealed envelopes, should be submitted in accordance with Section 2.

A pre-bid meeting will take place as per the following schedule:

Bidders are advised to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit (on their own cost and responsibility). Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held as per above schedule containing date, time and location. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The pre-bid meeting minutes, and any further enquiries received on or before 13 July 2015, will be documented and posted on the designated UNDP website on 16 July 2015. No inquiries will be accepted after 13 July 2015.

You are kindly requested to submit an acknowledgment letter to UNDP to the following address:

The letter should be received by UNDP no later than 13 July 2015.   The same letter should advise whether your company intends to submit a Bid. If that is not the case, UNDP would appreciate your indicating the reason, for our records.   

If you have received this ITB through a direct invitation by UNDP, transferring this invitation to another firm requires notifying UNDP accordingly.
