| Overview : The production of the KDP 2016 – 2019 will be the next series after the current KDP 2012 – 2015 and developed for the Kiribati Islands. Kiribati Islands is one of the countries located in the Central Pacific Ocean and is an independent republic within the Commonwealth of Nations. Kiribati consists of 33 coral islands with three segmented island groups namely Gilbert Islands, Phoenix Islands and the Line Islands. It has a geographic land area of 810sq.km with its Exclusive Economic Zone covering more than 3 million sq. km. It has a community based culture with its people warmly welcome visitors. It is highly influenced by the Church and the government plays a considerable role in the economy. The overall objective of this proposal is to engage a Technical Assistant (TA) to support the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development in developing the KDP with measurable performance indicators for each identified priority areas; Key issues, Strategies and Activities with outcomes.
