| Overview : Re-Advertisement: Pre-Qualification Exercise for LTA Security Printing Services for Electoral Projects (UNDP/PSO Ref. 500145) The United Nations Development Programme, Procurement Support Office (UNDP PSO) hereby invites interested Printers to submit their Pre-Qualification application to be short listed in relation to the upcoming International procurement process to establish Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with UNDP PSO for the provision of security printing services for Electoral Projects. UNDP/PSO aims at establishing these LTAs as a result of the upcoming bidding exercise (ITB) to which only short listed Printers from this Pre-Qualification exercise will be invited. Once the LTAs are established, LTA-holders will be requested to provide quotations through a secondary bidding exercise (in the form of a Request For Quotation) for specific requests during the validity of the Agreements. The scope of the Security Printing Services shall include among others: printing of various electoral documents with or without security features, binding, finishing, sorting, labelling, packing, palletizing and shipping to destinations. Electoral printed materials that will be covered under this LTA include: - Ballot papers,
- Envelopes (tamper evident paper and plastic envelopes as well as standard paper envelopes),
- Forms, various types including OMR, NCR and standard forms
- Paper/plastic voter cards
- Other related printing items such as voters lists, booklets, posters, etc.
Exact details will be defined in the referred upcoming ITB’s scope and specifications. UNDP PSO does not guarantee any specific volume that will be utilized from this LTAs but as a indication, PSO has procured on average around $10 million per year. Kindly note that the Pre-Qualification document has been updated 17 September 2015. Please be guided by the documents attached hereto in preparing your application. Printers are requested to complete Annexes A and B with a summary of the information required in the Pre-Qualification document and send as PDF file and also in editable format.
