| Overview : To strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Finance - Public Debt Administration (PDA) by developing a custom tailored Debt Management Software as an integrated part of the PDA Information System. A debt management system should take care of the core of the Public Debt Administration’s IT needs such as debt recording and reporting as well as form the foundation for risk and strategically analytical systems. Currently the PDA processes information about the debt using basic software tools which is not satisfactory. There is high operational risk associated with this set-up and the PDA has to use a lot of resources to keep up the production of debt servicing and reports. These resources cannot be used for more analytical and strategic work. Debt Management Software should enable timely flow of information within the PDA and to external parties, various timely and forward-looking analyses of the aggregate and selected debt portfolio, and necessary information for risk management purposes. |
