Overview : Consultancy Title: BIOFIN Finance and Business National Expert Duration: 120 days spread over 1 year Location: Suva, Fiji UNDP is seeking a qualified individual who will be responsible to complete BIOFIN Workbook Part 1C – Public and Private Biodiversity Expenditure Review. The Global Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) is managed by UNDP, in partnership with the European Commission and the Government of Germany and Switzerland. BIOFIN aims to develop a methodology for quantifying the biodiversity finance gap at national level, for improving cost-effectiveness through mainstreaming of biodiversity into national development and sectoral planning and for developing comprehensive national resource mobilization strategies. The consultant will be responsible for data gathering, analysis and write-up of the Public and Private Expenditure Review under the BIOFIN process together with Government counterparts.
