Overview : The Procurement Unit of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites qualified firms to apply for eligibility and to bid for the Contract on the Development of Private Sector Low-Emission Development Strategy (LEDS) Roadmap, an activity under the Climate Change Capacity Building Project Framework of the Low-Emission Capacity Building Programme (LECB PHL Project). The Philippines is one of the participating countries in a global Low Emission Capacity Building Programme focused on climate change capacity building for low emission development, primarily of the public sector. The project is focused on four (4) key sectors, namely: agriculture, waste, industry and transport. In this regard, the project requires the services of a consulting firm to develop Private Sector Low-Emission Development Strategy (LEDS) Roadmap, which will be the set of high level comprehensive and long term strategies that aims to decoupling economic growth and social development from greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions growth. The goal of LEDS is to make development climate-compatible. UNDP reserves the right to reject any or all the bids, waive any defect or informality therein, accept the bid and award the contract to the most advantageous offer to the UNDP, for and in behalf of the project.
