| Overview : UNDP Viet Nam is seeking 01 National Pulp and Paper Policy Expert for conducting a policy review of Climate Change mitigation options for the pulp and paper sub-sector in Viet Nam. The main objectives of this assignment are to: a) Assessment of the alignment and coherence of regulation, policies and processes relevant for the mitigation of GHGs in the Pulp and Paper sub-sector in Viet Nam and recommend changes needed; b) Estimation of the potential for GHG mitigation through strengthened 3R implementation for paper products; c) Recommend further policy studies needed for the development of a NAMA for the sub-sector; d) Recommend strategic interventions that could be undertaken as part of the NAMA for the sub-sector. The consultancy is expected to be 20 working days between November 2015 and January 2016. More details can be found in the attached solicitation document.
