Overview :

UNDP is harnessing the power of Open Data and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s surging levels of digital connectivity to initiate a public and online multidimensional-conflict mapping platform to observe and analyze incidents and trends in the province.

The initiative utilizes open source data and is undertaken in coordination with the Ministry of Home and Tribal Affairs and the FATA Secretariat.  What’s more, the data will be analyzed against development priorities and designed to support the way the government prepare, programme and respond to violent incidents, through providing relevant information and accurate and actionable data on areas prone to instability.

Bids are sought for the construction and maintenance of the online platform. This “tool” is hereinafter referred to as “VPPC” for Virtual Platform for Peace and Conflict Observation and Analysis. The bidder is expected to work closely with the VPPC team to provide these services and products.

Further details on the data platform’s expected functions and features are found below in Terms of Reference (Annex 5), the Description of the Tool (Annex 6), and the Project Outline (Annex 7). Please carefully read these Annexes 5, 6, and 7 in preparing your proposed solution.
