| Overview : El Programa de las Naciones Unidas (PNUD) para el Desarrollo es el organismo mundial de las Naciones Unidas en materia de desarrollo, que promueve el cambio y conecta a los países con los conocimientos, la experiencia y los recursos necesarios para ayudar a los pueblos a forjar una vida mejor. Está presente en 177 países y territorios, trabajando con los gobiernos y las personas para ayudarles a encontrar sus propias soluciones a los retos mundiales y nacionales del desarrollo. Mientras que fortalecen su capacidad local, los países aprovechan los conocimientos del personal del PNUD y de su amplio círculo de asociados para obtener resultados concretos. En el año 2015, el Centro Regional del PNUD tiene el objetivo de establecer un Roster Pre-aprobado a fin de tener una lista de expertos que estén listos para proveer servicios de consultoría en la temática de Desarrollo Sostenible – OBJETIVOS DE DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE, a fin de beneficiar a sus Proyectos y a Oficinas de Campo que puedan requerir estos servicios a lo largo de toda América Latina y el Caribe. Al establecer este Roster pre-aprobado, una vez seleccionado el/la experto(a) podrá ser llamado a ejercer consultorías y proveer servicios técnicos, suscribiendo un Contrato Individual durante cortos períodos que no excederán los 12 meses, siempre y cuando haya demanda y disponibilidad.
A este efecto, el Centro Regional del PNUD invita a todos los/las expertos(as) interesados(as), a presentar Expresión de Interés para el suministro de las siguientes sub categorías: - Planificación para el desarrollo
- Implementación de los ODS
- Seguimiento y revisión de los ODS
Las instrucciones detalladas para aplicar, instrucciones y bases de este proceso de selección así como los formatos a ser incluidos en la propuesta pueden ser accesados a partir del día 22 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 2015. Ofertas que no cumplan con los requerimientos del llamado podrán ser consideradas no habilitadas técnicamente o rechazadas. In 2015 the UNDP Regional Hub for Latin America and the Caribbean has the objective of establishing a pre-approved Roster to have a pool of experts who are ready to provide consultancy services for Sustainable Development / SDGs for the benefit of all Projects in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. Upon the establishment of this roster, qualified individual consultants may be called upon to be contracted under an Individual Contract and deployed to provide specific technical advice and short term consultancies for periods not to exceed 12 months, as long as there be a demand and availability. The detailed instructions on how to apply, required minimum expertise, experience, qualifications and competencies along with the support documents to be included when submitting interest together with evaluation, and selection criteria towards this roster can be downloaded starting NOVEMBER 22, 2015. Any proposals received and not conforming to the EOI guidelines will be considered as technically non-responsive and the proposal may be rejected. The deadline for the submission of the Expression of Interest is on or before January 29th, 2016 at 23:59 (Time of the Republic of Panama) (3rd Amendment). Any submissions received after the deadline will be rejected. Please submit your EOI offers to rsclac.associate.expert@undp.org, electronically. This EOI does not entail any commitment on the part of UNDP, either financial or otherwise. UNDP reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOI submitted by interested parties, without incurring any obligation to inform the affected applicant/s of the grounds.
