Please review. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the first amendment to the deadline for tenders/ submission of offers for the National ICT Needs Assessment Consultancy. Please see attached Ammendment # 1. The UNDP is soliciting the services of a Consulting Firm (hereinafter referred to as “the Firm”) to conduct a current state and ICT needs assessment that would contribute to the socio-economic development of hinterland, poor and remote communities of Guyana. The outputs of this consultancy are intended to inform the preparation of a full project document for approval by the Guyana Redd+ Investment Fund (GRIF) Steering Committee and the subsequent implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the actual project: “ICT Access and e-Services for Hinterland, Poor and Remote Communities.” The Firm will be contracted to compile the necessary baseline data and information, as well as establish indicators against which the project and its impacts will be measured. The Firm will also be responsible for conducting a needs assessment study that is intended to identify the scope, costing, best technical solutions and revenue structures in providing, operating and maintaining ICT access and e-services for hinterland, poor and remote communities, as well as assess the overall viability of the project. |
