| Overview : UNDP partners with people at all levels of society to help build nations that can withstand crisis, and drive and sustain the kind of growth that improves the quality of life for everyone. On the ground in 177 countries and territories, UNDP offers global perspective and local insight to help empower lives and build resilient nations. The mandate of the Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) of UNDP is to assess UNDP contributions by conducting country and thematic evaluations. IEO of UNDP produces approximately 20 evaluation reports a year which includes: Thematic Evaluations, Global & Regional Programme Evaluations and Assessments of Development Results (ADRs). Aside from the publications IEO also produces several communications and outreach materials such as brochures, fact sheets, briefs, occasional papers, National Evaluation Capacity Proceedings, speeches and more. IEO requires the services of a pool of English editors to ensure proper presentation and dissemination of information relating to the production of its reports and other communications materials. IEO at UNDP shall enter into a long‐term agreement (LTA) with the selected consultant(s) and shall provide specific deliverables and time frames for each task, as and when required.
