| Overview : The main objective of the assignment is to support Chautara Municipality to develop RSLUP and to update building bye-laws accordingly along with compliance to the NBC. This includes a comprehensive analysis of the land use behaviours and translation of the risk analysis into zoning, and land use functions, regulations and policies. Specific Objectives: The specific objectives of the assignment are as follows: - Prepare RSLUP at the municipal level based on, among others, vulnerability assessment, risk analysis, and trend analysis of urban growth and building construction
- Identify vulnerable settlements and suggest appropriate remedial measures including relocation if necessary
- Prepare/update building byelaws in accordance with the RSLUP and in compliance with NBC
Recommend measures to integrate RSLUP and updated building byelaws into the BPS in close coordination with municipal engineers and support engineers. |
