Overview :

UNSMIL/UNDP Libya, based at Tunis – Tunisia will organize a round table event meetings bringing together key stakeholders from Southern part of Libya and representatives of different sectors to discuss specific problems that this specific region of the country is facing and will propose solutions and mechanisms.

The overall objective of this event is to assist the South to prioritize its most critical needs and to better articulate the demands of the region through the combination of local knowledge and international expertise.

In light of this context, UNSMIL/UNDP Libya is seeking a qualified international consultant under “Political Dialogue” Project. The consultant will work under the supervision of the Director of Political Affairs and the responsible Political Affairs Officer to assist in the preparation of the relevant materials on the topic of security in the South that will help guide the discussion and reflection during the round table discussion.  The meeting is scheduled to be held in Tunis, Tunisia from 28- 30th May 2016

Project Name: Immediate Assistance to the Government of National Accord.

Period of assignment/services: 12 workdays (10 Days home based and 02 days in Tunisia).
