Overview :

UNCDF’s MM4P and MAP programmes would like to build internal capacity to deepen the data usage at country level and enable both Government counterparts and national staff to work with the data to drive financial inclusion at country level.  As such, UNCDF requires a service provider that is able to understand data-driven story-telling and can undertake two trainings and capacity-building for staff.

It is envisaged that the trainings are targeted at the in-country staff and outputs from the two 3-day long sessions will be used to inform their work at country level.  The key themes that will be explored include:

  • mobile money;
  • remittances;
  • agricultural finance;
  • gender;
  • MSME.

Thus, the trainings need to take these key areas into consideration and the trainings should be targeted and planned around these key areas.  Back-up material including access to current survey data, FinScope materials and any other data from the programmes will be provided to assist in the planning.

The first training will tentatively take place in July-August 2016 in Kathmandu, Nepal, whereas the second training is envisaged to take place in late September 2016 in Brussels, Belgium.

Please refer to the annexes for the application process.
