Overview :

The proposed programme by The Government of Samoa along with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) with financial resources under the Adaptation Fund is implementing a project intended to strengthen the ability of communities and the public service to make informed decisions and manage likely climate change driven pressures in a pro-active, integrated and strategic manner.

Under component 3 of the AF-Samoa Project, it is expected that an Institutional Strengthening Review will take place to integrate climate and disaster risk & resilience into coastal management-related policy frameworks, processes and responses.

Therefore UNDP Samoa is currently looking to hire a specialist whose objective is;

  • Be responsible for the design and implementation of an Institutional Review Analysis and Workshop to address governance and operational management for the MNRE to address the following institutional elements:
  1. Organizational restructuring;
  2. Institutional policy and regulatory functions;
  3. Service delivery with direct linkages to Project Implementation, in particular, CIM Plans as well as other relevant institutional issues.

Please download the Terms of Reference for more information and the appropriate templates for the submission of your proposal from this advertisement. Incomplete proposals will not be considered.

Deadline for submission of proposals is Wednesday 3 August, 5PM Samoa time and to be sent via email to procurement.ws@undp.org.
