The Support to the Electoral Cycle in Jordan, funded by the European Union and UNDP, consists of technical and material electoral assistance on key areas related to strengthening the institutional and professional capacities of the Independent Election Commission (IEC).

The IEC is responsible for managing and overseeing the conduct of parliamentary elections that will take place on 20 September 2016, as well as for municipal and governorate council elections scheduled for 2017.  The project is actively engaged in supporting the IEC in its preparation for and implementation of these elections, with specific assistance on the areas of electoral operations and communications.

As part of this support, the project requires an Election Analysis Advisor to review, analyse and report on electoral developments during the period of the election, including the formation of electoral lists, the conduct of the electoral campaign, and the electoral results.  The Advisor will also analyse and assess potential risks to the electoral process that will feed into operational planning mechanisms.

Technical and financial proposals along with CV & 3 references should be submitted, and without such will not be considered).

(Only Short Listed Candidates will be contacted)
