Response to Bidder's Request for Clarification
Overview :

The United Nations Development Programme hereby invites you to submit a Bid to this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the above-referenced subject.

This ITB includes the following documents:

Section 1:         This Letter of Invitation

Section 2:         Instructions to Bidders (including Data Sheet)

Section 3:         Schedule of Requirements and Technical Specifications

Section 4:         Bid Submission Form

Section 5:         Documents Establishing the Eligibility and Qualifications of the Bidder

Section 6:         Technical Bid Form

Section 7:         Price Schedule Form

Section 8-         Form for Bid Security

Section 9:         Form for Performance Security

Section 10:       Contract to be Signed, including General Terms and Conditions

Annexes:          Including relevant drawings, geotechnical surveys, and other relevant documentation

Your offer, comprising of a Technical Bid and Price Schedule, in separate sealed envelopes / files, should be submitted in accordance with Section 2.

A site visit/pre-bid meeting will take place on Thursday, 22 September 2016, 2:00 PM.  The focal point for this arrangement as follows:

2.  Mr. Niaz Rash, Field Engineer, UN-Habitat, email: niaz.rash@unhabitat.org

Bidders are advised to attend the site visit/pre-bid meeting (on their own cost and responsibility). Arrangements have been made for site visit to be held as per above schedule containing date, time and location.  Bidders will be required to sign an attendance form. Any clarification or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The pre-bid meeting minutes, and any further enquiries received on or before the deadline stated in the ITB-140/16, will be documented and posted on the designated UNDP website. No inquiries will be accepted after 3 working days prior to the deadline for submission of bids stated in the ITB.

You are kindly requested to submit a communication to UNDP on the following e-mail addresses advising whether your company intends to submit a BID. If that is not the case, UNDP would appreciate your indicating the reason, for our records. dolores.maitim@undp.org

This letter is not to be construed in any way as an offer to contract with your company.
