Overview :

Description of the assignment: The International Consultant is to conduct Mid Term Review (MTR) to assess progress towards the achievement of the project objectivies and outcomes as specififed in the Project Document, and assess early signs of project success or failure with the goal of identifying the necessary changes to be made in order to set the project on-track to achieve its intended results. The MTR will also review the project’s strategy, its risks to sustainability.

The International consultant will be assisted with a National Consultant to help conduct the MTR.

Project name: Rural Energy for Rural Livelihoods (RERL)

Period of assignment/services (if applicable): 22 Days over the period of November 2016 – 31 December 2016

Duty Station: Kathmandu

Proposal should be submitted at the following address: Procurement Unit, UNDP (Ref.: UNDP/PN/41/2016: International Consultant for MTR), by email to procurement.np@undp.org no later than 5:30PM, (Nepal Standard Time) on 26 October 2016.

Any request for clarification must be sent in writing, or by standard electronic communication to the e-mail: query.procurement.np@undp.org mentioning Procurement Notice Ref: UNDP/PN/41/2016: International Consultant for MTR (SM), on or before 20 October 2016. The procurement unit will respond to the inquiries by 21 October 2016. Inquiries received after the above date and time shall not be entertained.

Any delay in UNDP’s response shall be not used as a reason for extending the deadline for submission, unless UNDP determines that such an extension is necessary.
