Overview : Country: Tunisia The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN global development network. It advocates for change and connects countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. In accordance with its mandate under United Nations Security Council Resolution 2213 (2015), the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has been actively engaged in efforts to mediate a peaceful resolution to Libya's political and institutional crisis and bring an end to the armed conflict. Through a joint project, UNDP is working with UNSMIL to support transitional justice initiatives in Libya In light of this context UNSMIL/UNDP Libya is seeking to hire an international consultant to provide substantive guidance and support to the team working on the transitional justice project. Under the direct supervision of the Director of the Human Rights, Transitional Justice and Rule of Law Division of UNSMIL and in coordination with the Project Manager, the consultant will be responsible to carry out the tasks outlined below.
