| Overview : UNDP Regional Service Centre for Africa would like to hire internaitonal Gender Expert for the following scope of consultnancy:- - Assess and compile information on existing indicators on women, peace and security being used in Africa, both in regional and national monitoring frameworks and action plans;
- Provide technical support for the selection and endorsement of a core set of women, peace and security indicators for annual reporting by African states and regional institutions;
- Ensure the selected set of indicators is in line with existing initiatives such as internationally or regionally agreed methodological guidelines and survey methodology;
- Provide support on the compilation and analysis of data to assess progress on the implementation of UNSCR 1325, AUC instruments and other women, peace and security commitments in the region;
- Finalize the continental results framework for the implementation and monitoring of the women, peace and security agenda in Africa.
