| Overview : Submission deadline has been extended to 16 January 2017 Interested candidates that that had already submitted proposals need not necessarily re-apply if they consider their initial application as sufficient, since all applications submitted prior to this notification will be accepted for evaluation. The Government of Zimbabwe with support from UNDP is implementing a 5 year programme aimed at deepening foundations for Peace, Dialogue and Social Cohesion in Zimbabwe. A key component of this programme is to enhance the capacities of key institutions mandated to facilitate and promote peaceful co-existence, enable healing and reconciliation at national and sub-national levels. In this regard, the priority is directed towards the recently established National Peace and Reconciliation Commission. To ensure a sustainable approach to capacity enhancement, there is need to have an appreciation of the existing Zimbabwean expertise in the area of Peace Building, Dispute Resolution, Healing and Reconciliation. This baseline of expertise will form a data base that national institutions including the NPRC can draw from in the course of implementing their constitutional mandate. Zimbabwean professionals in the field of Peace Building and Dispute Resolution are invited to respond to this call. This call is open to Zimbabwean nationals only and targets individuals with relevant expertise and experiences in the area |
