Overview : RFP/BPPS/2017/0002 – Development of an E-Learning Course for Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA): Answer to Questions #3 The RFP states that the training package comprised of ppts, case studies and PDNA Vol A &B documents. However, there are only Vol A&B documents are available on the portal - we are missing the PPT files. Could you share the PowerPoint files?
PPTs for the PDNA training package can be accessed through the following link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/0a8ayjukhq7r39r/AABjWeMv-8DXhNWIG20Mmplja?dl=0 2. Section Brief Description of the Required Services – General Requirements – UNDP seeks the development of six [6] compelling, interactive and sequential online e-Learning PDNA modules. The prerequisite to take the next module would be the amount of knowledge gained and evaluated through a quiz (80% pass) from the preceding module. Question – Are we allowed to cross reference content between modules, if instructionally relevant or required? Yes, cross referencing should be allowed as knowledge builds from one section to the other. The application done through modules 5 and 6 make use of all the concepts learned in the initial 4 modules. 3. Section Brief Description of the Required Services – General Requirements – Modules 1 to 4 are predominantly designed to provide conceptual clarity and essential principles of assessment, and will contain an introduction, lesson with videos and quizzes, and case interviews. Technical requirements: Content should be designed and developed in a manner to support use in country offices which may share bandwidth access to the Internet. Video and audio elements should be used sparingly, based on sound instructional need, to facilitate access to learning content by country office staff. Question – Since the output is required in an HTML5 format, the animations will need to be deployed in the form of videos. As such, are there any guidelines that mention a specific size limit for videos? If there are any specific restrictions in terms of size of videos or minimum bandwidth that courses will be accessed on or number of videos in the course, please share the details. There are only a few videos prepared on the use and application of PDNA that could be used/adapted to the e-learning course. If advisable by designers and if it will benefit/facilitate transfer of knowledge, any other suggested videos will need to be created to suit technical requirements already specified. |
