Revisions:

  1. No of Brochures- 200 copies of each (6) strategic areas making a total of 1200 copies
  2. Videos- Should not exceed 5 minutes of compilation of 15-20 interviews

 

Background:

Ghana has since 1992 received world acclaim for the conduct of seven successful general elections despite many challenges. Over the years, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), together with other development partners such as the Government of Canada, USAID, EU, Government of Norway, DANIDA, amongst others have assisted key national institutions like the Electoral Commission, National Peace Council, etc to conduct elections. 2016 was no exception, as UNDP coordinated donor funding and technical input to support the implementation of strategically essential activities to name a few: electoral management training; interfaith peace initiatives; peace education for media traditional and religious leaders, communities, constituencies, as well as CSOs

Scope of Work:

a) At most an 80-page (including infographics, images, charts, and annexes) Report documenting results of activities and contributions made by UNDP strengthening the Electoral Processes in Ghana project to the success of the 2016 Ghanaian elections. 

b)4-page brochure for each of the 6-strategic areas highlighting results of activities implemented, donor support, institutional and public beneficiary experience

c)Short videos and soundbites from interviewing partners and beneficiaries on results

Education:

  • Advanced university degree in communication, publishing, graphic design, publications or any relevant field.

Experience:

  • At least 7 years of progressive experience working in the fields of report writing, publications (printing) and excellent technical capacities (such as state of the art filming equipment preferably High Definition) to produce high quality multimedia contents.
  • Extensive experience in producing short videos for international organizations with the aim of reaching both local and international audiences.
  • Experience in deploying infographics for crisp communication of development results. 
  • Demonstrable experience in editing and proofreading reports in preparation for high quality printing

The Consultant is required to have the above mentioned professional and technical qualifications. Only the applicants who hold these qualifications are advised to submit their respective bid proposals
