Overview : During development of the new UNDP Country Programme (2016-2020), it was recognised that the role of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and Private Sector players will be crucial for delivery of this program. It is against this background the United NationsDevelopment Organisation (UNDP) is soucing qualified Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to support Climate Change Response and Disaster Risk Reduction Programme implementation. EXPECTED OUTCOME AND OUTPUTS OF THE PROGRAMME The Programme aims to realize the UNDAF/CPD Outcome 3.1: By end 2020, natural resources management and energy access is gender responsive, effective and efficient, reducing emissions, negating the impact of climate-induced disasters and environmental degradation on livelihoods and production systems, and strengthening community resilience.
